Teeth in a Day in Ottawa, ON

I’ve known the doctors behind Ottawa OMS for over a decade and have followed their education, training, and careers closely. They are genuinely kind people and incredibly intelligent — the kind of clinicians you immediately trust because you know how seriously they take their work.

Dr. McMillan (both Kale and Dane) are excellent surgeons — professional, confident, and very thorough in explaining procedures and answering questions.
The office is modern, efficient, and clearly focused on patient comfort and safety. Everything runs smoothly, and you never feel rushed. It’s easy to see that this practice is built on high standards and genuine care for patients.
I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for top-quality oral surgery and an overall great experience.

The docs at Ottawa OMS are very knowledgeable, professional, and considerate! Their dedication to expanding their expertise to cover multiple specialties, their attention to detail to treatment, and their emphasis on collaborative multidisciplinary care are unmatched and go above and beyond. You’re in great and thoughtful hands with Drs. McMillans!

Dr. Dane McMillan and Dr. Kale McMillan are extremely knowledgeable, and caring surgeons. They are always putting the needs of the patient first. They are great at explaining each step of the process and answering any questions you have. Ottawa is very lucky to have them!

Dr. Dane McMillan and Dr. Kale McMillan are two of the most personal and professional surgeons I’ve ever met. They get to know you as a person and as a patient which is hard to come by. They hold themselves to high standards and they complete the surgery to that level! Working along side them for a few years through their residency, I have seen how they treat patients and perform surgeries and I would highly recommend both of the McMillans. They definitely follow the Mayo brothers saying “the needs of the patient come first.”

What stands out most about this practice is the clear commitment to doing what is right for the patient. Drs. McMillan approach care with honesty, sound judgment, and a level of integrity that is increasingly rare in healthcare.
That kind of ethical, patient-centered approach builds immediate trust. Combined with their surgical expertise and professionalism, it makes this a practice I would recommend with complete confidence.
They’re also very well versed in both surgery and restorative work which I’m not aware of in any other oral surgery practices

The McMillan’s are among the most kind, caring, and knowledgeable surgeons I know. They truly embody the values instilled by their training, consistently placing the needs of their patients first. Their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail are evident at every step of care, and they take the time to ensure patients feel informed, comfortable, and respected. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional oral and maxillofacial surgical care.

What a great experience at Ottawa Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery! My first appointment was with Dr. Dane McMillan. He was so charismatic and took time to ensure that I was comfortable throughout my procedure. My follow up appointment was with Dr. Kale McMillan. He was so caring and took time to answer my questions. They both exemplify the moto of Mayo Clinic (where they trained). “The needs of the patient come first”. I can tell you from first hand experience that they truly believe it and practice it. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone needing oral surgery!

Dr. Dane McMillan and Dr. Kale McMillan are exceptional surgeons whose skill, judgment, and professionalism truly set them apart. Their attention to detail, surgical precision, and commitment to doing what is right for each individual case are evident in everything they do. Beyond their technical ability, they are thoughtful, measured, and hold themselves to an extremely high standard. It’s rare to see that combination of expertise and integrity so consistently. Any patient or team working with them is in outstanding hands.
